The angular distributions of protons from the reaction C^<12>(d, p)C^<13> were measured at the deuteron energies of 14.9-, 16.6-, 18.1-, and 19.6-MeV, for the proton groups leading to the lowest four levels of C^<13>. The proton groups to the second and third excited states were not resolved. The measurements covered the angular range from 15 to 165 degrees at intervals of 7.5 degrees. The results were compared with the stripping theory and qualitative agreement in the forward directions was obtained, but not in the backward. The best fits for the angular distributions of the ground state group were obtained with the nuclear radius of (6.3±0.1) × 10^<-13>cm with Bhatia's formula. The angular distributions changed regularly with the deuteron energy. The excitation function was found to decrease monotonically with the increase of deuteron energy but that in the backward directions showed a slower decrease than that for the forward directions.
