Correlation and clusterization amongst relativistic charged particles produced in 4.5A and 14.5A GeV/c ^<28>Si-nucleus collisions are investigated by examining the maximum fluctuations in the density of relativistic charged particles in narrow pseudorapidity-bins, Δη, in the Monte Carlo background. For a fixed Δη, the maximum charged particle density decreases exponentially with increasing value of total pseudorapidity and increases with increasing particle multiplicity. These features are, however, observed to be essentially independent of the beam energy and target size. Furthermore, the maximum charged particle density distribution in a narrow pseudorapidity interval indicates the existence of dynamical correlation and clusrerization. A comparison of the findings of the present study with those reported by UA5, NA22 Collaborations and other groups permits us to draw some interesting and useful conclusions.
