The low-temperature specific heat around the ferromagnetic instability is studied by using theself-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory of spin fluctuations with particular attention to thecrossover between the Fermi liquid ('77 -l- r7T' In T f - = -) and the quantum critical ( -T In T)regimes.
