We study structural and statistical properties of a self-avoiding version of frac-tional Brownian motion (fBm) lrajectories in two dimensions. The self-similarity offBm trajectories is confirmed and their fractal dimernsions D are obtained. Closedloops of the fBm trajectories (self-avoiding fBm) are generated, and the relationshipbetween their fractal dimensions D,. and the Hurst exponent H characterizing fBmcurves is obtained. It is found that the size distribution of the loc>ps of fBm obeys apower law with the exponent f.
