Scaling Relation in a Class of Spatiotemporal Intermittency

We investigate the structure and statistics of clusters constructed using the cotrpled tent map,Some quantities, such as the cluster-size distribution, the density of turbulent sites and thestandard deviation of the cluster height, show power-law behaviors at the critical state. Wefound that although these exponents vary according to the parameter r characterizing the tentmap, one scaling relation is always satisfied.
