An unsteady effect of the diffvvsion on diffusion-limited aggregation (DLA) isstudied using the multiparticle DLA model on the deposition plate in two dimensions(strip geometry). The multiparticle model can take into account the propagation ofdiffusing particles from the upper boundary toward the deposition plate. The initialvalue problem of the unsteady diffusion equation is simulated by the multiparticleDLA model. The morphological evolution is investigated by means of computersimulations. With increasing concentration, the morphology of the deposit becomesdifferent from that grown in a steady state. In the dilute limit, the structure of thedeposit agrees with that of the steady state.[unsteady state, diffusion equation, DLA fractal, multiparticle DLAl
