Instability of charge density wave cant drive successive supercorxducting transitions.rhe transition at a lower temperature can be detected by the softening of l)110110115,whose symmetry is compatible with the symmetry of the product of the two supercon-ducting order parameters. It is argued that the second transition is responsible fortiny anomalies around T..: 35 K in high-texnperature superconductors YBa.Cu,0,with superconducting critical temperature '7'.:90K. It is also argued that theanisotropic Cooper pairing is responsible for high-temperature superconductivity notonly in YBa.Cu30, but also in the other cuprate oxides.[successive superconducting transition, second superconductiuag transition, l[ charge density wave, softening of phonons, YBa.Cu.0, higla-temperature [l superconductivityl
