The study of exciton transfer along the stackirtg fault intcrrface in BiI3 crystals ispresented by using a newly designed space-resolved spectroseopy method. The reso-nant luminescence lines of the excitons with exact zero Stokes shift were observed inthe space-resolved spectra at a point of more than 300 pm away from the excitinglaser spot. Analyzing the spatial distribution of the resonant luminescence intensitieson the assumption of exciton diffusion, we obtained unusually large diffusioncoefficients of more than 10' cm'/ sec at 4.2 K. This result indicates the existence ofhighly mobile excitons. The spatial distribution of the resonant luminescence intensities becomes smaller with decreasing temperature. The ten?perature dependence isdiscussed based on the weakly bound exciton model.[exciton transfer, space-resolved spectra, stacking fault excitons, no Stokes shift, ll large diffusion coefficient, highly mobile excitonl
