A structural effect on the galvanomagnetic properties ccf indium containinggranular inclusions of insulator has been investigated for specimens with the volumefraction f of the inclusions ranging from 0 to 0.133, and the o b'?ervation was analysedquantitatively in terms of the effective medium theory (EMT). 'the presence of the in-sulator inclusions yields a linear magnetoresistance dependitag strongly on f. Thebehavior of Hall coefficient 'tt correlates markedly with the occcurrence of the linearmagnetoresistance. The magnetoconductivity derived on the basis of EMT describesquite well the experimental results.structural effect, galvanomagnetic properties, tint:ar magentoresistance, indium,granular inclusions, glass beads, metal-void, effective medium theory, in-homogeneous media, currertt distortion
