Radiation Loss from Sine-Gordon Soliton Due to Collision with an Impurity : Progress Letters

The effect of impurity scattering on the sine-Gordon soliton is investigated with use of a lowest order approximation. We calculate the energy emitted from the moving soliton due to collision with an impurity.
