Reflection Coefficient of Sine-Gordon Systems : Application to Josephson Junctions : Progress Letters

An incident soliton produces reflected and transmitted waves at the interface of two sine-Gordon systems. In the lowest order approximation we calculate the ratio of the energy of reflected (or transmitted) waves to the incident soliton energy and compare this result with that of the small amplitude vibrational wave solution.
