Applying a transformation adopted in the Pauli and Kusaka theory on the vector field to the SU(2) gauge field in interaction with a static extended quark source, we obtained the Hamiltonian which depends explicitly on the total angular momentum and total internal spin of the system. With this Hamiltonian it is shown that the quark has the rotational excited states in the case where the quark-gluon coupling is strong.
