Chiral Symmetry Breakings in Supersymmetric QCD : Particles and Fields

It is argued that spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking in supersymmetric QCD is due to the boson pair condensation <φ^^-φ> instead of the fermion pair condensation <q^^-q> in sharp contrast to the ordinary QCD. We further construct a low energy effective Lagrangian for supersymmetric QCD, which realizes the symmetry breaking, SU(N)_L×SU(N)_R×U(1)_v×U(1)_x down to SU(N)_v×U(1)_v, in the massless limit. Our Lagrangian has no singular behaviour in the massless limit, supersymmetry being preserved independently of the quark mass m. It is shown that linear masses (instead of quadratic masses) of the pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone bosons are proportional to the quark mass and supersymmetric variants of Dashen's formulae are all saturated by the condensations <q^^-q>〜O(mΛ^2) and <φ^^-φ>〜O(Λ^2) for m〜0.
