Analysis of Intermittent Phenomena for High Energy Multiparticle Production Processes : Particles and Fields

Intermittent phenomena in η space are reproduced by a cluster model-simulation. It is pointed out that experimental data of the η distribution show the characteristic feature to be named intermittent phenomena which come from correlation effects of produced clusters. These phenomena should be distinguished from the so-called intermittency which is given by self-similar particle production. As for the p_T distribution in large p_T cutoff-simulation, our simulation yields rather extreme intermittent phenomena, since there exist quite a few events in which most of secondary particles are located in the localized large p_T space.
