A tight-binding equation for an electron in a dislocated lattice is reduced to the Schrodinger equation for a free particle with a subsidiary condition which expresses a certain discontinuity in a wave function. The scattering problem is solved in the same manner employed previously to study a solution of the Aharonov-Bohm problem.
