Unsubtracted Dispersion Relations and Nonleptonic Decays

On the basis of CP invariance, octet dominance and unsubtracted dispersion relations nonleptonic decays of hyperons have been studied. A new interpretation of the Lee-Sugawara sum rule is proposed for both S- and P-wave decays, and the decay amplitudes are evaluated. The agreement between theory and experiment is reasonably good.
