A renormalization prescription for a neutral scalar theory, applicable to both symmetric and symmetry-broken phases equally well, is presented. According to this prescription, the renormalization group equations in both phases are precisely of the same form. Finally, a set of general expressions for Green´s functions valid in both phases is exhibited.
