• The recently discovered resonances ψ (or J) are assigned to closed string states, namely, to members of a Pomeron family. We impose new Ansatze on the closed string interaction, which provide us with small decay widths for ψ(3.1 GeV) and ψ(3.7 GeV), while a large width for ψ(4.2 GeV). The mass formula for ψ-family is given by M_n^2= (2n+1)/α_p', where α_P'⋍1/2α_ρ'⋍0.5 GeV^<-2>.
