A Semiclassical Approach to the Boson-Fermion System

A full semiclassical approximation (WKB) method for the boson-fermion system is formulated in terms of local effective actions with auxiliary fields. The method is useful for spectrum analysis of the system in which fermions (anti-commuting coordinates) are strongly coupled with bosons (commuting coordinates). The Gross-Neveu model is studied by this method.
