Industrial Revolution which took place in 18th century in England produced a new production system called capitalistic production system. It mainly aimed at producing standardied goods as much as possible by making full use of big machine and large factory owned, directed and controlled by the capitalist. Their main interest was in making profit as much as possible in a very short time in this production system. But when we turn our eyes to the labor condition of factory workers in the age of industrial revolution such countries as England, Germany and France, they were compelled to work under the very uncomfortable situation. Profit making was a main task and mission of capitalist. It was acquired through creating surplus-value by the long labor-hours in the large factory controlled by the bureaucratic organization. But the wages of many workers were very low. They were explotted by the capi talist. Under these conditions they were making every effort to improve their labor condition and quality of labor life. Many social reformers were tackling to solve these problems. Among them Karl Marx played a very important role. He contributed too much to improve and change old social structure and form the labor union in inter national and global lebel. His epoch-making idea has led to a founding philosophy of Welfare State and modern govermment representing some of the interests of workers in the 20th century.
