A semi-automated data reduction system for laryngeal high speed motion picture films was described. This system allows an accurate reduction of film images by utilizing human ability of recognizing moving objects. With this system it is feasible to trace multiple graphic features simultaneously. It was pointed out that this system is particularly useful for the study of physiological mechanism of phonation.
