Three-Dimensional Tomographic Imaging in Terahertz Region

We have developed a terahertz (THz) tomographic imaging system based on reflective two-dimensional (2D) electro-optic (EO) sampling using a high-speed complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) camera. The inner structures of the sample were identified with the three-dimensional (3D) tomographic image. By using the 2D-THz imaging system, 3D tomographic imaging can be demonstrated within only 3 min.
