We demonstrate a heterodyne receiver using a photoconductive (PC) antenna in the sub-THz region. In our system, the PC antenna is irradiated by a beam with intensity modulation with a frequency $ f_{1}$ and the conductivity of the PC antenna is modulated with this frequency. Simultaneously an electromagnetic radiation with a frequency $ f_{2}$ is incident on the PC antenna. If $ f_{1}\approx f_{2}$, the down converted signal is induced in the PC antenna and is detected by an electric spectrum analyzer. Using this system we detect a signal of radiation with the frequency of 50.3 GHz.
