Diamagnetic Properties of TlBaCaCuO Superconducting Thin Films

The diamagnetic properties of superconducting TlBaCaCu oxide thin films with (2212) phase were studied, using an rf SQUID susceptometer. The remanent magnetization was observed up to 98 K, which is higher than the zerodiamagnetization temperature in a magnetic field. In the hysteresis curve, diamagnetization remains during increasing of the external field, compared to the results for other oxide superconducting films. The remanent magnetization is decreased almost linearly with rising temperature. In the flux creep model, the activation energy of relaxation in remanent magnetization for this specimen was estimated to be about 0.1 eV.
