An isotope effect on the hydrogen atom abstraction reaction by recoil T atoms in the <I>n</I>-C<SUB>10</SUB>D<SUB>22</SUB>–<I>n</I>-C<SUB>10</SUB>H<SUB>22</SUB> mixtures in the solid phase is compared with the reaction by D atoms in the γ-radiolysis. A small isotope effect for the recoil T atoms is explained by a track model.
