• Three new bitter diterpenoids, shikokianoic acid, shikokianal acetate, and 16,17-epoxyshikokianal acetate, have been isolated from the leaves of <I>Rabdosia shikokiana</I> (Makino) Hara. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence.
