The steam stability of H-ZSM-5-type zeolites containing alkaline earth metals was investigated by means of <SUP>27</SUP>Al MASNMR, the TPD of NH<SUB>3</SUB>, and methanol conversion reactions. It was found that the steam stability of the H-ZSM-5-type zeolites is greatly improved by adding alkaline earth metals.
