The structure of a bromo-derivative of parasiticolide A, C<SUB>26</SUB>H<SUB>29</SUB>O<SUB>8</SUB>Br, has been determined by singlecrystal X-ray analysis. The compound crystallized in the space group P2<SUB>1</SUB>2<SUB>1</SUB>2<SUB>1</SUB>, with <I>a</I>=14.658, <I>b</I>=15.323, and <I>c</I>=11.181 Å. The absolute configuration of the molecule was determined using the anomalous dispersion effect of the bromine atom for Cu<I>K</I>α radiation.
