The surgical reconstructure was conduced per maxillary and through the orbit in 12 cases of blowout fractures of children and satisfactory results were obtained. The perforation occurred at the fissura infraorbitalis in all cases. The diameter of the perforation ranged from 7 to 8mm on the average. A 1mm thick soft sillicon sheet was placed under the periosteum at the bottom of the orbit inoder to cover the bone defect. The typical type of the blowout fracture easily occurrs in the children, however, it is more complicated in the adult.
