A 58-year-old male was found to have acoustic neuroma associated with the bilateral otitis media with effusion. Acoustic neuroma is considered to be easier to detect in patients with sensorineural hearing loss. However, as shown in this case, if the patient has a middle ear disease in the same ear, the early diagnosis becomes more difficult.
