We report two patients of septic arthritis of the shoulder joint with onset in infant. They have been followed-up for each six and four years. And we evaluated them by roentgenograms and the function of the shoulder joint.In the present time, roentgenograms showed the deformity of the humeral head and malalignment of gleno-humeral joint in both cases. They showed only slight limitation of range of motion and muscle weakness, and had no disturbance of activity of daily living.We consider that the function of the shoulder joint in both cases are almost satisfactory.
