Limb salvage operation of the malignant bone tumors of the proximal humerus.

We reported two cases of the bone tumors involving the proximal humeri that were treated by limb salvage operation. The case of a thirteen years old girl who had suffered from parosteal osteosarcoma was managed by free fibule bone graft associated with electric stimulation after the wide resection. The other case of a forty-one years old man who had chondrosarcoma was treated with arthrodesis. Both cases have obtained good functional results. And they have no evidence of recurrence and metastasis.
