We used Pepleomycin for 23 cases of oral cancer, and obtained following results.<BR>1) Anti-cancer effects were as follows: remarkably good in 4 cases, efficacious in 3 cases, slightly good in 13 cases, and none in 3 cases.<BR>2) The effects of Pepleomycin were remarkably good in carcinoma of the buccal mucosa, efficacious in carcinoma of the mandible, no significant in carcinoma of the maxilla and tongue, and none in recurrent carcinoma.<BR>3) Stomatitis were mostly noticed as side effects but pulmonary fibrosis was not induced.
