Malignant lymphoma of the maxillary gingiva-alveolar region. Report of a case.

Malignant lymphoma occurs frequently in the head and neck region, but rarely in the oral cavity.<BR>A 73-year old man was referred to our clinic complaining of the right upper jaw trouble. Clinical findings revelated swelling and ulcer on the right molargingiva. X-ray findings showed right upper jaw diffuse resorption. Histopathological examination indicated malignant lymphoma.<BR>The patient received combination chemotherapy with CHOP and radiotherapy. Tumor disappeared after therapies and there has been no recurrence. So maxillofacial prosthesis: was applicated.
