Two cases of hepatocellular adenoma on oral contraceptives were reported. The first case was forty two-year-old female with complaint of abdominal pain, and was founnd to have a mobile mass. The second case was twenty six-year-old female who developed intraperitoneal hemorrhage due to a ruptured mass. The resected mass in both cases was well defined, and compressed the surrounding liver tissue. Histologically the constituted cells of the mass closely resembled to normal hepatocytes, and showed the uniform texture and arrangement throughout the mass. It is likely that the characteristic feature of hepatocellular adenoma is homogenous histopathology within the tumor as opposed to the variation of the histopathology of hepatocellular carcinoma.
