REPLANTATION OF AN AMPUTATED FINGER WITHOUT VENOUS ANASTOMOSIS (A CASE STUDY)

We experienced an unusual case of replantation of an amputated finger, in which one digital artery was reanastomosis but no suitable veins for anasto-mosis could be found during a prolonged search. For the venous drainage, the opposite side wound to the re-anastomosis side was left open, and milking procedure continued every 6 hours for 7 days.We have salvaged of the amputated distal segment without venous anasto-mosis in the case of a digit replantation. We described a case herein.
