ヒ素代謝に関する研究(第8報) 三酸化ヒ素によるコハク酸脱水素酵素活性抑制におよぼす異種飼料の影響について

体重100g内外のWistar albino ratを，粉乳を主成分とした飼料あるいは雑穀を主成分とした飼料で35日間飼養したものを対照群とし，各対照群に，1日650ppmの三酸化ヒ素を添加し連日35日間投与飼養したものを実験群とし，各群の飼料摂取量，体重増加の状態およびラットの肝，脳，腎におけるコハク酸脱水素酵素活性を測定し，ヒ素による影響を調べた．1)飼料摂取量および体重増加については，各群間に統計的有意差を認めなかった．2)コハク酸脱水素酵素活性の変動は次の通りである，(1)肝1g当りの活性値は，各群とも経時的にほぼ直線的に増加し，粉乳飼料の対照群に対し，ヒ素添加の実験群の活性値は約4/5に抑制した．雑穀飼料の対照群の活性値に対しては実験群のそれは約2/3の活性低下が現われた．肝全体当りの活性値は，それぞれ約3/4および約1/2とさらに強く低下した．(2)脳1g当りおよび脳全体当りの活性値については，粉乳飼料の対照群の活性値に対して，ヒ素添加の実験群のそれはわずかに低下を示したのみであったが，雑穀飼料の対照群に対しては，実験群の活性値は約1/2に低下した．(3)腎1g当りおよび腎全体当りの活性値は，粉乳飼料または雑穀飼料においても，対照群の活性値に対し，ヒ素添加の実験群のそれはいずれも約4/5の活性低下が現われた．3)各飼料群に，ヒ素を添加投与した場合，ラット各臓器内のヒ素含有量は，雑穀飼料群に比して，粉乳飼料群の方が明らかに減少するが，ヒ素による各臓器のコハク酸脱水素酵素活性の抑制度は，各臓器によって異なり，しかも，ヒ素含有量とは必ずしも比例しないことから，ヒ素に対するこの酵素の反応には，臓器特異性が存在するようである．
