Schemes for Black-Box Phase Regeneration Using Phase Sensitive Amplifiers based on PPLN Waveguides

We investigate a black-box BPSK phase regenerator constructed from PPLN waveguides and show that phase squeezing performance can be maximized and unwanted phase-to-amplitude noise conversion can be minimized by control of the signal-to-pump power ratio.
