Cooperative networks are recently a hot zone in wireless communication. By exploiting proper relay node's antennas without employing more than one antenna for each node, the source and destination pair can improve its performance such as spatial diversity, system capacity, etc. By means of proper assignment for the relay nodes, we developed two distributed relay assignment (DRA) algorithms to improve the bottleneck of the networks. As a result, we can improve the performance and fairness of the overall system.
