From the roots of Scutellaria strigillosa HEMSL, two new flavonoids, (2S)-7,2'-dihydoxy-5-methoxyflavanone and 2,2',4'-trihydroxy-6'-methoxychalcone, and one new triterpenoid, 3-epi-micromeric acid (3α-hydroxyursa-12,30(30)-dien-28-oic acid), were isolated, together with 22 known compounds, ((+)-syringaresinol O-β-D-glucopyranoside, syringin, scutellaric acid, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, 3-epi-ursolic acid, 3-epi-oleanolic acid, 4-epi-hederagenin, maslinic acid, oroxylin A, wogonin, chrysin, norwogonin, baicalein, 5,8-dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavone, 5,7-di-hydroxy-2'-methoxyflavone, 5,7-dihydroxy-8,2'-dimethoxyflavone, naringenin, (2S)-5,7,4'-trihydroxy-8-methoxyflavanone, (2S)-5,7-dihydroxy-8,2'-dimethoxyflavanone, baicalin and wogonin 7-0-β-D-glucuronopyranoside). The structures were determined on the basis of the chemical and spectral data.
