From the root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, four new glycosides (1-4) were isolated, together with three phenylethanoids, salidroside, darendroside A and darendroside B. The structures of 1-4 were shown to be 5,2',6'-trihydroxy-7,8-dimethoxyflavone 2'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, 3,5,7,2', 6'-pentahydroxyflavone 2'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, (2S)-5,7-dihydroxy-6-methoxyfiavanone 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and benzyl O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside, respectively, on the basis of the chemical and spectral data.
