This paper presents a simplest approach to detect a Region Of Interest (ROI) in a video sequence by Mobile Robot with moving Background. It is very challenging to detect ROI when the background is moving relative with the foreground. In this approach, we have used Mixture of Gaussian as the background model and Visual attention method to detect ROI in real time. We have taken into account both the important information and relevancy of the attended regions to include in a ROI. We have proposed an evaluation method of ROI based on the important information in ROI in Real time. The experimental results are provided to illustrate our proposed algorithm.
