Involvement of Nuclear Selection Rule in Compatible and Hemicompatible Di-Mon Mating of a Tetrapolar Mushroom, Flammulina velutipes

四極性担子菌,エノキタケのダイ・モン交配における核選択の規則と二核菌糸体の脱二核化の介在を検討した.和合性ダイ・モン交配により,一核菌糸体の二核化が生じた.親二核株の一核が選択され,親一核株に移動して二核化が完遂した.供試二核株を構成する核がダイ・モン交配で選択核となる序列は二核菌糸体の一核化での核の選択の序列と一致した.半和合性ダイ・モン交配では,親二核株のうちの親一核株と相補する核が優位あるいは従属核でも,二核化で供与核となり得た.しかし,親一核株と相補する核が従属核の場合は,親一核株コロニーから採取したサンプルの二核化の確率は優位核に比較して低率であった.和合性ダイ・モン交配に見られる核の選択規則が,半和合性ダイ・モン交配においても機能していると推測された.本菌におけるいわゆるダイ・モン交配は,親二核株がまず脱二核化し,生じた一核細胞と親一核株の間での交配である可能性が示唆された.
