Effects of the additional corncob meal in sawdust-based cultivation of Lentinula edoes using smoke-heated softwood

燻煙熱処理したスギおよびカラマツを用いて,シイタケの菌床栽培へのコーンコブミール添加の子実体収量における効果を考察した.スギ,カラマツ単独培地およびブナとの混合培地ともに,培地へのコーンコブミール20%添加により子実体収量は増加したが,コーンコブミール10, 30添加培地では明確な効果は認められなかった.しかしながら,カラマツ・ブナ混合培地へコーンコブミールを20%添加することにより,ブナ単独の培地と同等の収量が得られ,この時の培地のCN比は約70を示した.これらの結果より,これまで利用されていなかった針葉樹間伐材を煉煙熱処理し,コーンコブミールを添加することによって,菌床栽培の材料として十分に利用可能であることが示唆された.
