The consciousness research of the students who have experienced the field training will be useful for education of nutritionist training. We made, therefore, a consciousness survey on our 1092 students who had finished the course of the field training from 1975 to 1987. The results are as follows. (1)During the course of the field training, the students were interested in some practical facilities in the following order ; school feeding srevice, hospital feeding srevice health center and enterprise feeding srevice.(2) The difficulties which surrouded the stdents in the course of the course of the field training were firstly human relations in the practical facilities(52.8%), and successively nutrition guidanc, make of menu, business of nutrition administration, cooking guidance, sanitary supervision and goods administration. (3)70,1 per cent of the students who made the filed training in the health center required the time more than three days to complete the practices. Among them, the students who needed the time more tan one week for the practices amounted to 35 per cent. (4) The students points out in high proportion that the following subjects were directly necessary for the practices, viz. science of clinical nutrition, administration of feeding service, theory of nutrition guidance and cooking practice. (5) Most students(82.5%) thought that the normal study in the collage were useful for the practice of facility. (6) The future prospects of the students were as follows ; "work as nutritionist" (31.7%), "get the profitable qualification of nutoritionist ", "make the improvement of dietary life in the home life "and "engage in the occupation unless nutritionist" (21 to 23 per cent respectively). (7) The following three facilities were ranked high by the students as the favorable place of work for nutritionist ; school (34.5%), hospital(19.1%) and welfare facility(15.8%). (8) The students who think the that the nutritionist is a rewarding job amounted to 46.6 per cent, and such student tend to increase in recent years. However, the students who think that it is an unrewarding one also amounted to 23.9% pwe cent. (9) The ideal images of the nutritionist imaged by the students are "a cheerful person"(42.5%), "a warm-heated person"(35.0%) and "a plain and steady person"(10.5%).
