We joined in the Summer Camps as the staffs for Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellotus of Children in Ehime Prefecture and Australia. The situations of the Camps and thier diet are as follows.(1) The terms of the Camps projected in Ehime were, on average, 4-5 days, but those of the International Camps in Australia were 10 days.(2) Although the ratios between the medical and recreational camps were the same in the Ehime Camps, the recreational camps was rather emphasized than the medical one in the International Camp.(3) The data of the perspnal intakes of foods were gotten in the Ehime Camps, but it was difficult to get the personal intake data because many persons were represented from 13 countries in the International Camp.(4) The energy ratios of each nutrient per total energy were 15-20% to protein, about 30% to fat and 50-55% to carbohydrate respectively in the each Camp.(5) Much vegitable foods were taken by the perticipators in the Ehime Camp, but fruits and thier processed foods were more used than vegitables in the International Camp. All items of foods used in the Ehime Camo were plenty than those of the International Camp.
