We have investigated the specific heat and transport properties of the new ferromagnetic compound Nd_3Al with the hexagonal Ni_3Sn structure. At low temperatures well below the Curie temperature of 74K, the temperature dependence of specific heat and electrical resistivity are consistently explained by considering the influence of magnon excitation with an anisotropy gap of about 30K. An unexpected enhancement of the specific heat coefficient, γ〜42mJ/(mol・K^2) is observed. In the ferromagnetically ordered state, the predominant contribution of the term proportional to the square of resistivity to the anomalous Hall resistivity is observed. Thermoelectric power changes its sign from negative to positive at around 60K with increasing temperature.
