• The "retikuloendothelialzell theorie" advocated by Prof. Kiyono is supported eagerly by many authors and the investigation of the "retikuloendotheliazell" is always becoming more specialized. The examination of the "retikuloendothelialzell System" of the skin, in other word the "reitculohistiocyten system", the histiocyten being the subject in this system of the skin, seems to have been rather superficial and not thorough, that is, it seems to have been performed occassionally on the studies of this cell system of the various organs of the body. We should say that the first noticeable study on the reticulohistiocyten system of the skin in our country, and at the same time the last noticeable one until now, is that of Koike. The reason why the investigation of the reticulohistiocyten system of the skin has rather been neglected must be due to the difficulty in making the histiocyten of the vertebra with constant body temperature distinct by the colouring matter injected intravenously or intraperitoneally. On the percutaneous immunization with some antigenous substances it was made clear by the author that the preliminary slight rubbing with some organic solvents, as petroleum-benzine or benzene, promoted the percutaneous absorption and accelerated the percutaneous immunization accordingly, as stated in the former paper. The author is now anxious to learn the relation between those organic solvents and the reticulohistiocyten system.
