Based upon ^<13>C NMR spectroscopic observations of the deuteriorated methylcyclopropane and 1-butene, a bromoalkyl radical process has been considered in the reduction of sulfoxides and sulfilimines to sulfides by zinc/1,4-dibromobutane.
