本文は,均一な横振動細棒について,その基本マトリクスを整理表示し,各種の端条件を与えた場合の等価回路表示を行なって各素子の値を決定し,実用に便利なようにしたものである。 さらに棒の分布質量を無視した場合についても等価回路を与え,材料力学における簡単な諸問題も回路の問題におきかえて容易に取扱われることを示した。 また,振動子がとくに固有の共振状態で使用される場合には規準函数展開法を用いることによってさらに簡単な等価回路表示が得られることを例証した。 これらの成果は単に単位系の解析にとどまるだけでなく,これら単位系を組合わせた複合機械系の解析ならびに合成にも役だつ。 なお,付録に横振動細棒のインピーダンスあるいはアドミタンス・マトリクス表示の誘導・証明について簡単に述べ,さらに規準函数展開法を用いた多端子等価回路考察の原理について略述した。また,上記マトリクスの各要素の周波数特性を電子計算機によって計算した図表も付記し実用に便ならしめた。
